Terms of Use

Last updated October 2, 2026Applies to experts-corner.com

Contents

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Expert’s Corner at experts-corner.com, including its case-based activities, webinars, podcasts and related content (together, the “Service”), operated by Orakle LLC, 1317 Edgewater Dr, #2367 Orlando, Florida 32804, United States (“Orakle”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Who the Service is for

The Service is intended for healthcare professionals only. By using it, you confirm that you are a healthcare professional and at least 18 years old. We may ask you to confirm your professional status, and we may limit or withdraw access to any part of the Service, for anyone or in any location, at our discretion.

Your account

Some features, including certificates and continuing education credit, require an account. Your account is an Orakle account that also gives you access to DxTx, Orakle’s clinical calculator site, and these Terms apply to your use of it on Expert’s Corner.

You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email address. Sign-in links are personal: do not forward or share them, and keep access to your email account secure, as anyone who can open your email can sign in to your account. Tell us promptly at support@orakleinc.com if you believe someone else has accessed it.

You agree to provide accurate information, to keep it up to date, and not to impersonate any person or create an account in someone else’s name. One account is for one person; do not share it. You may ask us to close your account at any time.

Educational use — not medical advice

The Service is provided for educational purposes. Cases are illustrative: patients, portraits and scenarios are created or adapted for teaching and do not depict real patients unless stated. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, does not recommend any particular product or therapy, and does not create a clinician–patient relationship with Orakle or with any faculty member. Faculty commentary reflects the views of the faculty at the time of preparation, may not reflect current guidance by the time you read it, and does not replace your own clinical judgment. You remain solely responsible for your clinical decisions and for following the laws and professional standards that apply to you.

Continuing education

Where an activity offers continuing education credit, it is certified by the accredited provider named on the activity’s page, and its accreditation statement, credit designation, requirements and dates are stated there. Credit is subject to the accredited provider’s requirements and the rules of the relevant accrediting bodies, which may change. Claiming credit you have not earned is a breach of these Terms.

Advertising and sponsored content

The Service is supported in part by advertising and sponsored content, which may come from pharmaceutical, medical device and other healthcare companies. It is clearly labeled and kept separate from accredited educational content. Its inclusion does not mean that Orakle endorses any product, service or claim. Any dealings you have with advertisers or sponsors, including requests for information, are solely between you and them.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation, or professional standards that apply to you.
  • Do not attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users’ accounts, or the systems hosting it.
  • Do not use bots, scrapers or other automated means to access, copy or collect content or data from the Service.
  • Do not share, reproduce, frame or redistribute activities or substantial parts of them, or share answers in a way intended to undermine assessments or credit.
  • Do not remove or obscure attributions, citations, accreditation statements or legal notices.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its cases, text, images, videos, design and software, is owned by Orakle or its licensors, including faculty and content partners, and is protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own professional education. All other rights are reserved. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

Third-party content and links

The Service may link to or include third-party content and services, including cited publications and videos. We are not responsible for third-party content or services, and a link or citation does not imply endorsement.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service or its content is complete, current or error-free, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orakle, its faculty, licensors and its officers, employees and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including any clinical decision made or not made in connection with its content. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability shall not exceed one hundred US dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Orakle harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close your account, or restrict your access to the Service, if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or to protect the Service or its users. We may also modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

If you believe material on the Service infringes your copyright, contact us at support@orakleinc.com with a description of the work, the location of the material on the Service, your contact details, and a statement that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner. We will review and respond to valid notices.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If we make material changes, we will indicate them on this page.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, unless applicable law in your place of residence requires otherwise. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect; our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it.
